Most people don?t think about themselves as being electrical, but that is exactly what we are. Our nervous system is of an electrical design. The building blocks of our nervous system are the nerve cells, which contain neurons. Our brains contain billions of neurons, which use electricity to communicate with each other. These electrical impulses direct all body functions. Just like the wiring system in your house, the body has lines of energy that direct electrical current. This current feeds the organ systems and keeps the body charged and healthy. When the wiring system has been altered, the electrical current is impeded and the electrical impulses are unable to conduct their electrical potential. When this happens, the organs and other body systems weaken and are more susceptible to disease and injury. Sometimes injuries can cause neurological disorganization, and the nervous system gets the signals reversed. This phenomenon is referred to as switching. Among the most common symptoms of switching is a person having difficulty deciphering right from left, or they may switch letters or numbers. These symptoms have been labeled as dyslexia.
Our body?s electrical field extends out from the body, a few inches to several feet. The vitality of the body and the potential for healing is reflected in the size of the field. The field can be thought of as the electrical potential (voltage) of the nervous system. Practitioners who use methods of tapping into these subtle energy fields are able to ascertain a vast amount of information. Our current medical devices are unable to tap into these subtle energy functions of the body and can only detect the gross tissue dysfunctions of organs and tissues.
